About this blog

To quote Maya Angelou:-

“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style”

Connection, belonging and making meaning of the life we live are fundamental to our sense of well-being. So in this space, I will explore and question the all-too-familiar ‘things’ in my life, to share an alternative view of the incongruent, to ponder the ‘impossible’, to re-vision what is.

For you see, before I was even born, a story had been told of the first born.  And throughout my life, stories of norms, duties and ‘shoulds’ were told of the girl, the woman, who fulfilled many roles. My stories are many and multi-faceted. Time to reclaim them for my own.

Journey with me as I seek to make meaning of stories in my life and create new ones!

Life is uncharted territory. It reveals its story one moment at a time.     Leo Buscaglia
