Songs of your life

What fun 🙂 In Ronovan’s post, there is a link to a page where you can “find” the #1 hit during the week of your birth…  I couldn’t resist.

And… well, maybe our lives end up reflecting the philosophy of the top charted song of the week we were born in? Alright, I wasn’t born in the US or UK, but I’m claiming them.

On my birth week, the #1 song in the US was “Let it Be” by The Beatles. The two young people in my life love this song, and the Princess has a shirt with the cover printed on it.

“And when the night is cloudy there is still a light that shines on me
Shine until tomorrow, let it be.”

For the UK, “All Kinds of Everything” by Dana made it to the top. I recall singing this song in the school choir in the 80s and loved its feel. Still do 🙂

“Dances
romances
things of the night
sunshine and holidays
postcards to write
Budding trees
autumn leaves
a snowflake or two
all kinds of everything remind me of you.”
