Being alive, Pain, Poetry

I cried for you

Is it a good time to tell this story?

I cried for you
I was angry and I cried for you
No, no longer crying
What is anger after all but a disguise for
The hurt of loving you,
Yes, I hurt for you
But I never had you, have I?
You and I, both and each illusion
Meeting in a place of need
Until yours no longer yearn
While mine, mine just is,
Once again
As the saying goes
The lesson will repeat until
the lesson is learnt
How swift mine came
Before I caught my breath,
I am alone once more
Waiting once more
Had I not learnt
Had I not anticipated
It was never to be a fairytale,
You are a vision, a state of bliss
Born from pain and desire.

You are an apparition.
