Brokenness #Haiku Challenge 176 @RonovanWrites

RonovanWrites Haiku Challenge 176 with prompt words – Broken, Over

I must have time on my hands, or that these two words resonate… so here’s three haikus from me… and there’s more!

When the world’s shattered,
as thunder roars and storms rage,
Renew, start over.

Broken spirit howls
Enough, it’s over; let me
rest this weary heart.

Light has broken through
endless dark clouds lingering,
A flower’s blooming.

And my lovely daughter, S (she of the small letters only) decided she’ll join in the fun this week… so I present her three haikus…

over-confidence,
is a broken state of mind,
a devilish thing.

slowly tear apart,
shattered heart and broken mind,
over the small thoughts.

my torn flesh now mends,
i’m over being broken,
i gain confidence.
