One Lovely Blog Award

Standard

Thank you, Michelle, for the nomination I did say I would get to it… so here I am albeit 4 months later :-).

Here are 7 facts about me, not already known from elsewhere on here.

  1.  I am a romantic. There, I said it.  Much as I’d like to deny it, a review of my poems suggest otherwise.
  2.  I am a realist. Often accused (shock horror!) of being unimaginative, I do like to base my reality on reality. Doesn’t mean I can’t change it.
  3.  I am a dreamer. These dreams when pursued through real actions, become goals and achievements. That’s my theory anyway. 🙂
  4.  I am a pragmatist. There are certain things that we can’t change. We do have the choice to change our perspectives. We can choose to step out of ‘the game’.
  5.  I am conservative. Yes, I am working on this… to shift a bit more towards the other end of the spectrum.
  6.  I am contrary. Enough said.
  7. I don’t like labels and loath being pigeon-holed. Something within me goes a little mental and I go sassy. Warning!

I have ‘labelled’ myself I know but only for ease of reference.  We all seem to have an idea what these labels mean, do we not?

These 5 blogs are interesting and diverse, and well-deserving of this Award.

Poetry and creative ‘things’   Geetha Balvannanathan’s Blog

Some wit and humor   But I Smile Anyway…

An ISFP blogging about love and all things    Doodles and Scribbles

Something beautiful (I would classify as for audience 18+)  Siren Whispers

Writings from another culture   Hot Cup of Kaapi

  1. Thank you very much for the award and mention Florence. I think when I first read this on my reader I didn’t realise it was an award and as such just responded to your comment. I appreciate the mention and your opinion of my work. It means a great deal to be read and for words to be appreciated and to resonate. Thank you again. ~C

Thank you so much Florence for the award. I have been away from the laptop and so couldnt comment earlier. I am glad you like my posts, makes it all worthwhile.
I have a no-award rule in place. But, I will mention this in my achievements and will cherish it always.

  3. Thanks a lot Florence for nominating me but as I have already revealed several facts about me and most of the blogs I follow are award free, I’ll just pin your award on my page and when I have time just indicate which blogs are worth a follow.

  5. You are most welcome and deserving:) And no worries on the slow response. I think I have two in my que to respond to right now, lol. Such is life and it is nice to have a fall back post for those days when we may feel less than inspired. 🙂
