Winter – a renga

A beautiful young man wrote this and with his permission, I am posting it here.

flower winter

Autumn is over

A cold winter voice speaks soft

Seeds lie sleeping low.

In the morning chill

Snow starts slowly falling down

On the winter ground.

Tangled in the snow

Autumn flowers lie dying

Like discarded dreams.

As the night grows dark

Through grooves in the thick cold ice

Moonlight finds its way.

The fires are all lit

Chimney are all smoking now

WINTER has arrived.
